Wait, wait!!! This post is anything but vulgar. My blog is very wholesome. :D
So supposedly going to the washroom is a private thing. I mean, you do not go inside the cubicle with someone or you do not ask a friend to urinate with you.
[But girls have it differently. We go to the bathroom in groups, but not because we want to USE the toilet together. It's like more of a hang-out thing.]
Anyway, so we got that down already, right? Urinating is something "intimate". So you want to "shield" yourselves from the world when doing it.
But I still wonder though, I always, ALWAYS see guys urinating in the streets facing the wall--which I think if I were the guy would be embarrassing; 'coz the whole world is seeing me urinate.
So in my perspective, if I were the guy, ok, I would just face the wall to lessen the embarrassment. At least I do not SEE others looking at me, even though I KNOW everyone is looking at me.
But then I think also, when you go inside the washroom, people know what you are going to do. Like it's no secret at all that you will do some excretion of bodily fluids or substances. [Hehehehe.]
So is it just me that thinks urinating in public is something embarrassing?
In the Philippines, the government has sort of made a solution to that problem. They imposed pink urinals on the roads, so that males do not just do their thing anywhere.
The pink urinals do not have any doors. So it's also like urinating facing a wall, but then now there are designated "walls" already.I do not think these urinals are the solution though. Number one, I think they are still unsightly. Two, I think they are a waste of money when men could just discipline themselves to wait for a gasoline station or restaurant or whatever with a washroom.
If women can wait, why can't men?
Ummm...someone might mention that's why it's mostly the women who suffer from urinary tract infection or UTI, because they hold their urine for too long. That's another topic. :P
Any insights on this? :D
