A Movie Review On "Closer"

"Closer" is a story of four strangers getting entangled into a complicated, intriguing love mishap. The lines in the movie are totally witty. There are so many memorable quotes that I stopped memorizing the lines already.

The story is simply fantastic. The plot looks all very simple, but all the events surrounding the acting keep you guessing what will happen next; and then the story gets more and more intricate.

All praises goes to Jude Law who plays the thoughtful and quiet writer Dan in the film. His acting is so emotional, sensitive, and absolutely riveting. You can really feel the drama in his conversations with Julia Roberts. I especially liked the exchange between them during Anna’s (Roberts) photography exhibit. I can’t quote them verbatim now. I have to see the movie again!

Jude Law doesn’t disappoint long after the 1997 science fiction “Gattaca”. Overall, “Closer” deserves a standing ovation with its choice of actors and incredible screenplay.
